For kicks I started watching the first episode of the original 90210 series.
First reaction: OMG this is such trash.
Second reaction: OMG the cars at West Beverly! Worth it just for the “rich kids pulling up for the first day of school” sequence. What was then spoiled bratsville is now a Jalop playground.

I think “Steve”’s car is a ZR1.
Turns out both Ian Ziering and Jason Priestly are big car guys.

So, will you continue watching it or is it that bad?

Hard to judge an entire show on the first 20 minutes, but I didn’t see anything to get me watching more of it.

I must say the theme music is catchy though. Still humming it...

I watched that when it first aired for some stupid reason. I'll blame being a dumb teenager. I couldn't have possibly liked that schlock, could I?

In that clip? Just a standard TPI convertible.

You’re right, I meant to say in later seasons.

If I remember right, it was always a new convertible (my sisters watched the show religiously).

Looks like you’re right. I thought I remembered seeing a ZR1 badge on his Vette in an old episode but I guess I’m mistaken.
